VIEWS to the Barrington Tops, the vineyards and the sand dunes of the coast of Newcastle can be seen from a Lambs Valley acreage to be auctioned on November 2.
Perched 1000ft above sea level, the 129ha property is made up of two lots but is being offered in one line.
The property is located on Lambs Valley Rd, and Eaglereach resort is on the next mountain range.
Selling agent Mark Butler of Dowling Raymond Terrace said under the zoning a house could be built on each lot, making it an ideal getaway for two families.
He said the property was mostly cleared with the remainder made up of semi-rainforest so it was suitable for grazing, viticulture or growing olives.
Mr Butler said it was difficult to predict the selling price but said `we would be looking for bids from the high $300,000s to early $400,000s'.
The auction will be held at noon on November 2 at the Monte Pio Country Comfort, Rutherford.
Inquiries to Mark Butler 0408 492686.
* KEITH Wagner of Keith Wagner Real Estate has listed an acreage of about 1.4ha in Fullerton Cove.
It is to be auctioned on site on November 2 and bidding is expected to begin from around $450,000.
Mr Wagner believed interest in Fullerton Cove was on the increase as people were beginning to see the potential in the area, including the proposed domestic airport at Williamtown and its proximity to Newcastle.
Located on the corner of George St and Fullerton Cove Rd, the property features a large, well-presented brick and tile residence featuring four bedrooms, a sunken lounge room, a separate dining room and a modern timber kitchen.
The bathroom is a three-way design and the main bedroom features a large walk-in robe plus an ensuite.
An extra shower and toilet is connected to a games room and the whole house has ducted air-conditioning.
For a tradesman or car lover, the four-car garage with four automatic panel doors will certainly appeal.
The property is quite flat and, with some stables and paddocks, is ideally set up for horses.
Other features include a massive machinery shed.
The property will be open for inspection each Saturday, including today, from 1pm to 1.45pm. Inquiries to Keith Wagner 4928-4000.
* FOR those looking for a lifestyle change within an hour from Newcastle and about 10 minutes from Maitland, a vacant 40ha property between Gosforth and Rutherford is selling for $395,000.

Located on Anambah Rd, Anambah, the property features 600m frontage to the Hunter River and according to Mr Nyquist, it has several suitable home sites with sweeping rural views.
Inquiries 4934-2000.

Listing agent Chris Meares said there had been a lot of interest in the property since the auction from one underbidder and a new party.
Located along the Wybong Rd, it includes a large double brick four-bedroom homestead.
The property has about 1.5km of double frontage to the permanent Wybong Creek.
